On Thursday, June 22, and Friday, June 23, from 7 p.m. to midnight, Bordighera awaits you for the VI edition of “Bordighera, un Paese di Sapori” (“Bordighera, a Land of Tastes”): the picturesque setting of Bordighera Alta will accompany visitors and tourists on a food and wine journey to discover local excellence. It will be the restaurateurs who will set up an ideal taste itinerary with themed specialties for the enhancement of local products.
The restaurants involved in the initiative will offer some dishes of Ligurian cuisine and more, which can be tasted while sitting at one of the tables set up in the alleys of the Old Town at promotional prices, the expected cost for each individual course is between 4 and 10 euros.
Side events include: culinary workshops (pesto making, anchovy salting, etc.), the tasting of wines from western Liguria by ASPI, musical and entertainment moments.
To enhance the cultural heritage of Bordighera Alta, initiatives and guided tours will be organized in the area, the famous Villa Garnier and Villa Pompeo Mariani, places dear to the famous painter Monet.
