Super Natural

Sea & Land, What to do

Discovering Western Liguria and the Cote d’Azur through sports activities linked to the territory. This is the “mission” of Super Natural, a sports association based in Dolceacqua in the Val Nervia, which organises mountain bike, freeride and all mountain excursions.

The Super Natural programs meet all tastes and levels of physical fitness and ability. The excursions last from half a day to two days and are organised and developed by expert guides on request. For cycle lovers, Super Natural suggest different combinations of activities which can last from half a day to nearly a week. There are many paths in the Nervia, Argentina and Roja valleys which can be travelled by mountain bike, right up to reaching French territory. The guides accompanying the groups know each path perfectly. The hills and valleys of Western Liguria and the Cote d’Azur are perfect for freeriding and all mountain. The entire area covered by the excursions is characterised by the closeness of the coast to the mountain, thereby creating the ideal setting for breath-taking descents to the sea. This is why both amateur and professional sportspeople contact the Dolceacqua group to organise enduro training sessions. Even cycle manufacturers rely on the association in order to test their new models along the valley paths or to organise press camps.

But that’s not all. Super Natural also organises various competitions and events linked to the territory and to outdoor activities. The most important is certainly Dolcenduro, an extreme bike trail competition, which attracts increasing numbers of enthusiasts and which is part of the French circuit “Urge 1001 Sentiers”. The fifth edition of the international race took place on 5th March, with many of the best enduro riders at the start line, such as the several-times downhill champion, the Australian Sam Hill. There has been a constant increase of local bikers over the five editions, but even more so of foreign ones, who choose the valleys of Western Liguria to practice this sport.
