Soldano

Crosia Valley

Colours, scents and suggestions of the Mediterranean scrub are lording over Soldano, a small village with stone houses immersed in a nature made of brooms, mimosas and vineyards, including those that make it famous for Rossese, the popular ruby red wine originally from Dolceacqua, in whose territory there is also Soldano.

The village is hidden from the sea, it’s visible only coming closer to it, a sign of the probable origin linked to the escape of the Ventimiglia inhabitants away from the coast that was assaulted by the Saracens.

Among the beautiful palaces with loggias and the Baroque churches, Soldano today is fed by culture, nature but also sports and excursions to discover the Rebuffa or Bellavista mountains.
